Hey everyone! My name's Melissa; I'm a Freshman here at URI. Being born in November, I'm a Scorpio -- an astrological sign typically associated with resilience and honesty, both of which I exhibit. I hope to dual major in Italian and Spanish, although where exactly I'll head with that I'm unsure, but I'm contemplating teaching. I graduated high school in a big town called Commack, located in Long Island, New York. I have two older brothers, one of which is a bona fide surfer -- he's gone to Nicaragua and Costa Rica for surfing contests!
